OCOP Quang Ninh - Spring 2019 earns nearly VND 11 billion

The five-day OCOP Quang Ninh fair - Spring 2019 lured about 75,600 locals and visitors and gained approximately VND 11 billion in total revenue, reported the organizing board of the fair.

The revenues earned by local OCOP stalls, other provinces and cities’ stalls and foreign ones were respectively VND 6.5 billion, roughly VND 3.1 billion and VND 933 million.

In detail, the revenues earned by local OCOP stalls, other provinces and cities’ stalls and foreign ones were respectively VND 6.5 billion, roughly VND 3.1 billion and VND 933 million.

Some stalls with considerable revenues were Dong Trieu (nearly VND 800 million), Hai Ha (VND 650 million), Hoanh Bo (about VND 500 million), Tien Yen (VND 470 million) and Ha Long (nearly VND 400 million).

Purchasers showed their close interest in a variety of locally-made products such as Tien Yen chicken, Mong Cai pork, Co To peanut worm (or Sa Sung), Co To dry squid, dipped squid, products processed from oyster, mussel and other types of seafood, Binh Lieu vermicelli, Duy Khuong mallard, Dong Trieu glutinous rice, etc as well as a wide range of goods produced in Lam Dong province, Nghe An province, Hanoi city and Hai Duong province.

The OCOP Quang Ninh Fair – Spring 2019 includes 190 booths including 100 ones selling Quang Ninh-made agricultural products, 56 ones owned by 25 provinces and cities, 22 stalls showcasing goods from Korea, Thailand, Iran and Japan and 12 ones possessed by Quang Ninh’s OCOP partners. The event took place at the Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center in Ha Long city from January 25 to 30.
