Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision establishing the Nam Tien Phong Industrial Zone (IZ) at the Mac Dynasty Swamp Industrial Park (in Quang Yen town).
Granted the investment licence in 2014, Nam Tien Phong IZ is located in Tien Phong commune, Quang Yen town. The US$128 million project will take up 487ha and is designed as an environmental-friendly industrial park which comprises a system of modern technical infrastructure. It is expected to be a convenient and safe idustrial zone, and in harmony with surrounding urban areas.
The QNPPC requested the Tien Phong Industrial Zone Joint stock company to carry out the project in compliance with the contents approved in the planning and granted investment licence. In addition, the company has to be responsible for management, ensuring environmental protection, safety and fire prevention in the IZ.
