According to information released by Mong Cai City People’s Committee, 9,369 turns of freight vehicles transported via Bac Luan Bridge No.2 and the exit gate of the pontoon bridge Km3+4 with a total imported and exported goods of 195,406 tons. Customs activities complied with the procedures of Covid 19 prevention and control.
At Bac Luan Bridge No.2 border gate, from Feb 7 to Apr 10, functional forces approved customs declaration procedures for 7,343 turns of imported and exported cargo vehicles from 221 import-export enterprises with a total imported and exported goods of 125,946 tons.
From Feb 25 to Apr 10, functional forces at the exit gate of the pontoon bridge Km3+4 approved 1,156 export customs declarations, including 453 declarations for export business and 704 ones for border residents with 2,026 vehicles for the transport of exported goods.
To ensure the disease prevention and control, Mong Cai City established isolation areas at the checkpoint of Bac Luan Bridge No.2 under Mong Cai International Border Gate and the exit gate of the pontoon bridge Km3+4 to easily control vehicles and imported and exported goods as well.
