According to Hai Ha District People’s Committee, to date, the total aquatic turnover within the district reaches 14,015 tons, exceeded 3% of the plan, of which turnover of natural fishing gained 9,800 tons; the aquaculture turnover attained 4,215 tons.
In recent years, fishing in inshore and offshore areas gets high economic efficiency. The district is now applying new model of growing Anabas Testudineus and GIP Tilapia.
In addition, the district is conducting idal flat planning to meet aquaculture demands of the local people.
