To date, a part of technical infrastructure in Ha Ha Seaport Industrial Park has been completed, attracting a number of sub-investors to expand their production and business in the Park, therefore creating stable jobs for locals and laborers from neighboring localitie sand making contribution to state budget.
Ha Ha Seaport Industrial Park has a total planned area of 4,988 ha. It is divided into two areas, namely Hai Ha Industrial Parkand Hai Ha Seaport.
Within the area of Hai Ha Industrial Park, Texhong Group is chosen as the investor to implement the 1st phase of Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park’s infrastructure investment project with total area of 660 ha. To date, Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park has attracted 12 projects with registered capital of over 1 billion USD, 7 of which have come into operation with final products exported to international markets.
Total import-export turnover at Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Parkby Oct 2019 reached nearly 1 billion VND; its total revenue is 500 million USD, contributed 300 billion VND to the state budget and provided regular jobs for 10,400 locals and neighboring laborers.
The investor of the industrial park and sub-enterprises have been strengthening the promotion of investment into the Park and have received delegations from Japan, Taiwan, China…as they have made farm trips to the industrial park to consider locations of investment. Many of them are leading economic corporations, namely Toray International Inc. and Uniqlo. It is expected that Texhong Group will fill 60% of area of Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park’s 1st phase by next year while completing dossiers to submit to the authorities for consideration to allow the Group to carry out the 2nd phase on an area of 1,300 ha.
Apart from Texhong Group’s investment in technical infrastructure in Hai Ha Industrial Park, Quang Trung Mechanical Enterprise is carrying out the project of multi-functional habor on Hon Mieu Island while Sai Gon Newport One Member Limited is studying to invest in a seaport and logistics project in Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park.
