The Ha Long- Van Don expressway toll collection trial began on Jan. 23 for its official operation on Feb. 1 as scheduled, according to the project investor.
As reported, the construction of all the main components of the 4-lane Ha Long - Van Don expressway with the length of nearly 6 kilometers and maximum speed of 100km per hour have been completed.
To date, all the preparations for the operation of the two auto toll collection stations are ready. The equipments have been already installed and connected to the main system.
Expressway users will have to pay toll fees with a rate of VND 2,100/ km for 53.6 kilometers in BOT form. Meanwhile, epressway users from Cam Hai (Cam Pha city) to Van Don district will not be charged as it is invested with the State budget.
