On April 13th, in Ha Long city, a ceremony was held by Ha Long Shipbuilding Company to sign a contract on building 4 new tug ships ATD 2412 to be exported to Damen ShipYards Group ( Holland).
This is one kind of specialized tug which is 24m long and 12m wide, and are equiped with advanced equipments in accordance with European standard.
Speaking at the ceremony, President of the Damen ShipYards Group Komner Damen said that the Corp. plans to build 170 ships of different kinds. Of which, 70 ships with hi-values have been built in Vietnam so far. Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh-Director of Ha Long Shipbuilding Company affirmed that with high expertise in building ships for domestic shiping businesses and for exporting, his company will build and hand over 4 hi-quality ships to the Damen Corp ensuring safety and time span.
