On April 14, QNPPC had a meeting with a delegation of Ha Long Marina Company (Federal Republic of Germany) led by the General Director Oliver Seeberg coming to Quang Ninh to field-survey the locations and seek for investment opportunities to build a large-scale marina with a system of wharves, hotels, and services. Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice-Chairman of QNPPC has received and worked with the delegation.
Previously, the delegation was accompanied by representatives from relevant departments of the province to survey some feasible locations for building the marina, and they are particularly interested in Cai Bau island area.
At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh PPC Nguyen Van Thanh introduced to the delegation about the potentials, strengths of the province, specially the plan of Van Don Economic Zone (EZ), with the Recreation Complex, international airport, etc. He, at the same time, assigned relevant departments to directly respond all questions in which the company is interested, such as plan, policies, connection hub of transport infrastructure to Cai Bau island and other infrastructure systems.
Speaking in the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh has highly appreciated working methods of the Company as well as it professional approach in seeking a feasible location for investment of the marina. He confirmed that QNPPC will provide the best conditions for the company to continue its researches and survey before deciding the investment. He suggested that the Company should focus its research on Cai Bau island area.
