On Jan. 29, in Ha Long city, Vice-Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh had a meeting with a delegation of Knauf Gips (German) coming to explore the investment environment of Quang Ninh to build a plaster manufacturing plant in Quang Ninh.
At the meeting, a representative of the Knauf Gips KG briefly introduced about the scale of the company and manufacturing procedures as well as its possible impacts on the environment. Accordingly, Knauf Gips is the biggest company specialized in producing plaster products that can be used in construction. It owns 200 plants with more than 20,000 employees all over the world. After surveying, the Company plans to build a plant at Cai Lan Industrial zone with a total investment capital of over EUR 30 milion.
For his part, Vice-Chairman Thanh made a strong affirmation that the province of Quang Ninh always treasures the investors’ willingness to invest in the province. He said that QNPPC pledged to offer the best facilities to the investor to invest in the province. Regarding the plant project, Thanh requested the Company to prepare a detail proposal and summit the QNPPC for consideration. Related to the location of the plant, he required the company to apply high technology during the manufactionand ensure not to negatively affect the environment.
