On June 21, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thang had a meeting with Director General of Foxconn Technology Group in Vietnam Harry Zhuo, who comes to Quang Ninh to explore the investment opportunity.
With the desire to extend investment in Quang ninh, Foxconn Vietnam Group is considering its plan to build a plant specializing in assembling TV screen components on an area of 10 hectares in Dong Mai Industrial Park, Quang Yen Town with a total investment of 40 million USD.
Receiving the delegation, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thang stressed that Quang Ninh pledges to accompany and facilitate the group during their implementation in the province, especially support them to fulfill investment licensing procedures in the soonest time. "Quang Ninh will also offer the investor with favorable conditions as well as incentives during their investment in the locality", he added.
He assigned the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority to act as a focal point to assist the investor during their implementation, and provide them with adequate information.
Director General of Foxconn Technology Group in Vietnam Harry Zhuo, in turn, said that with synchronous and modern transport infrastructure, Quang Ninh has successfully attracted a number of large economic groups and this is also a good opportunity for Foxconn Group to invest in Quang Ninh. He believes that the investment license for the project of assembling TV screen components in Dong Mai Industrial Park, Quang Yen Town will be completed soon. The effectiveness of this project will be the basis for the group to continue researching and expanding investment in many areas in the province.
