On Mar. 20, in Ha Long city, FLC group held a breaking-ground ceremony to commence construction of its Resort complex. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen The Ky, Director General of The Voice of Vietnam Station; Mr. Nguyen Van Doc, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee and other leaders of Quang Ninh province, as well as representives from the relevant ministries and central organisations, neighbouring provinces and cities.
FLC Ha Long Resort is located on a rage of hill stretching from Hong Ha to Hong Hai, Ha Trung and Ha Lam wards (in Ha Long city). The project covers an area of 224 hectares, with a total investment of 3,400 billion VND. It is designed to have an 18- hole golf-course, 1, 500 seat international convention center, a five star hotel, 12.5 hectare luxury villas, etc. As planed, the golf -course will be completed and put into operation in December of 2016,; other components of the project will be completed by the end of 2017.
Speaking at the ceremony, the FLC Group's representative much appreciated the professional and open-minded working style of Quang Ninh province in investment promotion, which greatly helps the investor smoothly implement their projects. The investor also affirmed his strong commitment in assuring the progress of the project aiming at contributing an outstanding tourism product to Quang Ninh province.
For his part, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long - Quang Ninh's Chairman higly appreciated FLC's determination in implementing their projects in Quang Ninh. It is expected that this project will be one of the highlights among the tourism chains of Quang Ninh and contribute to the provincial budget. The Chairnam strongly believed that the project will be completed on the progress as agreed. . He also requested the relevant provincial departments and sectors to effectively support the investors during the implementation of the project.
