On May 6, the Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc and leaders of other relevant provincial departments made an inspection trip to some of the agricultural development projects in Dam Ha district and Mong Cai city.
During the survey, the representative of the FLC group made a preliminary report on the hi-tech agricultural park project which is proposed to be built in Dam Ha district. Accordingly, there are two feasible locations, including an area of 545 ha in the communes of Tan Binh and Quang Lam; and an area of 688ha in Duc Yen and Quang An communes.
The project aims to build a hi-tech agricultural park that meets domestic and international standards; supply fresh agricultural products, and establish a agricultural production mega zone to provide products for export; offer good experiences for tourists. For these purposes, FLC wished that Quang Ninh province would offer them a suitable land area for the project implementation.
Quang Ninh’s Secretary Nguyen Van Doc highly appreciated FLC’s project proposal, and emphasized that it will be a large-scale hi-tech agricultural park in Dam Ha district. Once completed, it is expected to raise the value of the production land area and help to promote agricultural production in not only Dam Ha but also other surrounding localities.
Regarding the land clearance for the project, he stressed that it must be in line with benefits of both FLC and the local people.
“FLC should puts high priority on offering jobs for the people living at the project’s location”, he added.
On the same day, the Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc inspected the Hi-tech Shrim Seed, Food and Martime products complex invested by Viet-Uc Seafood Corporation in Dam Ha district and cow raising project invested by Phu Lam Ltd.,Co since 2016 in Mong Cai city.
