Export-import turnover through Hoanh Mo border gate reduces in nine months

In the first nine months of the year 2017, the total export and import turnover through the border gate is estimated to gain U.S$ 22.44 million, a decrease of 27.47% against the same period last year. The total of the State budget collection is nearly over 48%, down to 9% compared to the same period of the year 2016, according to the Hoanh Mo Border Gate’s Managemant Board.

Of the fingure, export value was US$ 8.62 million, representing a reduction of 37.9% while import stood at 13.82%, down 13.82%. The exports are maily shrimps, furniture; the imports are: Cloth, electric bulbs, Glazed bricks, Ceramic bowls…

As evaluated, there are a lot of difficulties in tax collcetion in 2017 due to the policies on tax cut down of some of the goods, such as  cloth, ceramics, bricks, interior decorators, etc. Besides, some of the major imports made in the country have high qualtiy. Therefore, there’s a decrease in the need of importing from other countries.
