According to statistics of the Department of Industry and Trade, in the first nine months of 2011, the export and foreign currency turnover achieved more than USD 1,744 million.
Of which, export turnover of central enterprises based in province attained USD 1,404 million, accounting for 75.66% of the plan; local enterprises reached USD 209,000, approximately achieved 73% of the plan, while FDI enterprises gained only USD 131,000, occupies 57.01% of the plan.
Some exported products saw a rise over the same period last year, such as clothes, vegetable oil… By contrast, exported products of the FDI enterprises, such as smelly candles, synthetic fiber, shoes, … reduced compared with the same period of 2010 due to difficulties in stabilizing the export market.
