The free bus route from Ha Long city to Van Don International Airport has become a safe and convenient means of transport for locals and visitors.
Operated by Phuc Xuyen Ltd.,Co. in order to offer passengers with good quality services, these buses are equipped with modern facilities including of air-conditioners; fresh drinking water; high-speed wifi; USB 2A phone charger, laptop charger ... Besides, instruction boards on the buses are all printed in 3 languages, namely Vietnamese, English and Chinese so that foreigners could easily find out adequate information of Quang Ninh. In addition, monitoring equipment and security cameras are installed on the buses to be connected to the operating center to ensure safety and routes’ timetable.
The shuttle buses run every 80 minutes between Ha Long city and Van Don International Airport. Passengers will be dropped off or picked up right at the check-in counter in a rapid and safe way. The number of routes has sharply increased to an average of 30 routes per day instead of only a few routes on the beginning days of its operation.
Passing all the main tourism attractions in Ha Long city, the free buses has become the optimal means of transportation chosen by many passengers, contributing to increase the number of visitors coming to Ha Long.
Since its official operation in late December of 2018, Phuc Xuyen Ltd., Co. has launched 3,831 routes, serving nearly 31,000 passengers. Particularly in the peak months of March and May, the number increased to 1,734 routes with more than 15,400 passengers.
As can be seen that, after 6 months of operation, the Ha Long - Van Don Airport free bus routes have not only met the travelling demand the locals and visitors, but also contributed to increasing the connectivity capacity of the airport to urban areas, leaving deep impression for those coming to Quang Ninh. In the upcoming time, the owner of the buses and the local functional authorities plan to continue to improve the service quality and operation efficiency. Promotion and advertisement activities will be enhanced so that more people and visitors could be informed about this kind of service in Quang Ninh.
