In the morning of Sept 14, delegation of the U.S Embassy in Vietnam led by Adam J.Fields, Economic Attaché of the U.S Embassyin Vietnam hada working visit in Quang Ninh.
Receiving and working with the delegation, there are leaders of the Departments of Planning and Investment; Trade and Industry; Science and Technology; Natural Resources and Environment and the Management Board of the provincial economic zones.
At the meeting, representatives of the provincial departments and functional sectors introduced the overall of Quang Ninh economy to the delegation. They especially focused on the areas with various potential for cooperation and investment that the U.S enterprises are interested in, such as tourism,services, seaport, building materials, thermo-electricity,…
After hearing the introduction of potential and strengths of the province, Mr Adam J.Fields said, the U.S enterprises are actually interested in investment in development of the Van Don airport, Thermal Power Plants…The U.S Ambassador in Vietnam will be the bridge of the U.S enterprises to invest in a number of fields in Quang Ninh in coming time.
Under their working visit, the delegation will visit Van Don economic zone, Mong Cai international border gate and Coc 6 Coal joins-tock Company.
