According to Mong Cai Border Gate’s Customs Branch, from Jan 1 to Apr 5, the agency approved 4,045 customs declarations for 236 enterprises, with import-export turnover of 110 mil. USD.
Among 4,045 customs declarations, 3,189 were import, 856 export. Imported goods mainly included raw materials for production and processing, consumer goods, electronic components meanwhile exported goods were mainly cotton fibre, dried fruits and medical face masks.
Despite the decrease in customs declarations, state budget collection via Bac Luan Bridge No.2 gained 171 bil. VND, representing a year-on-year increase of 24%. Particularly, Texhong Group’s cargo via Bac Luan Bridge No.2 achieved 28 mil. USD and contributed 2.3 bil. VND to the state budget.
