According to the representative of Mong Cai International Border Gate Management Board, after the talk between Mong Cai city and Dongxing city (Guangxi, China), from June 11, the Chinese side agreed to extend the customs clearance time at the exit gate of Km3+4 Hai Yen (Mong Cai city) and Dongxing border markets through the temporary pontoon bridge over Ka Long river.
Specifically, the customs clearance time is from 8 a.m-11 a.m, 12 p,m – 4 p.m, increased by 3 hours compared to before, however weekends and holidays still close. The extended customs clearance time will create favorable conditions for Vietnam’s agricultural, aquatic products and fruits to export to the Chinese market as well as facilitate a smooth goods clearance for enterprises. The result has achieved thanks to the active involvement of Mong Cai city’s authorities in solving difficulties for enterprises in the context of the post Covid 19 pandemic.
