On March 2, customs clearance at Hoanh Mo Border Gate (Vietnam) and Dong Zhong (China) officially resumed. The cartegories of goods that receive customs clearance are mostly agricultural and forestry products.
In the first months of 2020, trading activities at Hoanh Mo Border Gate paused due to the effects of Covid-19 that caused difficulties for export-import enterprises and small-scale traders.
During the import and export of goods, drivers, owners of goods, loading and unloading workers were required to wear face masks, gloves, protective clothing in line with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.
