Commenced in November 2017, to date, construction of the main road connecting Van Don International Airport with Van Don high-class integrated resort has achieved 70% of the work.
To build a comprehensive route linking the Ha Long - Van Don expressway and Van Don - Mong Cai ones, the progress of the construction of main road from Van Don International Airport to Van Don High-class Integrated Resort was slowed down at the end of 2018 to adjust the design of 7.2km out of 15km section overlapping with Van Don - Mong Cai highway from the level-III road to the 4-lane standard highway. The adjusted designs are now completed. Contractors are focusing on accelerating construction progress of the project.
The 4 lane road is 15km long and 32m wide. The starting point of the road is connected to Ha Long - Van Don highway and the finishing point is connected to Van Don high-class integrated resort.
As reported, 34 pipe culverts and 15 box culverts have been fulfilled.
4 of 15 kilometers of the road have been asphalted.

Other sub-components of meadian strips, flower beds…are now in burst of speed, ensuring the completion dealine as scheduled.
