A breakground ceremony was held on Dec. 6 in Ha Long city to kick start the construction of the luxury hotel and codotel namely Double Tree by Hilton Ha Long Bay, which is scheduled to be in operation in the second quarter of 2020.
Covering an area of 17,329 sq.m, the hotel is located in Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long city and is invested by the Tri Duc Hotel Joint Stock Company with a total investment of over VND 2,000 billion. The 28-storey hotel has 318 fully-equiped rooms while the condotel tower which is constructed by Coteccos Construction Joint Stock Company includes 460 luxury starndard rooms and other components including a trade, entertainment area, a restaurant, a car park and an open space of green trees as well as other ancillary works.
It is expected to be one of the accommodation highlight and a 5-star international tourism complex in Ha Long city, attracting high-class tourists as well as national and international mega events, and contributing to socio-economic development of the province.
The hotel will be managed and operated under the standards set by Hilton Hotel Group, one of the largest and fastest growing hospitality companies in the world, with more than 5,000 properties and 119,000 rooms in 104 countries and territories.
