On June 29, in Ha Long city, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, the People’s Committee of Bac Lieu, Vietnam-Australia Corporation and FLC group jointly held a roundtable conference with the theme of “Meet Bac Lieu-Taste of Vietnam” at FLC Halong Bay Golf Club & Luxury Resort to promote Bac Lieu shrimp to international partners.
The Vietnam-Australia Corporation and Bac Lieu are the two leading drivers in Viet Nam in producing high quality shrimp seeds in the closed recirculation systems. The Corporation has applied hi-technologies to produce shrimp breeds in glasshouses in order to supply a great amount of shrimp to the markets.
At the conference, participants who are experts, scientists, domestic and foreign managers presented their strategic directions with the application of advanced technologies, contributing to improving values of shrimp farming in particular and sustainable development of the aquaculture industry in general, thereby, helping to raise the consumers’ awareness of buying hi-quality shrimps.
The roundtable conference also included a Gala dinner and a cuisine exhibition on “Bac Lieu shrimp - Taste of Viet Nam” to introduced typical delicious dishes from shrimps to the delegates. This is also a good start of raising position of Vietnam shrimp brand in the world.
