According to the investor of the Tran Quoc Nghien coastal ring road expanding project (in Ha Long city), 80% of the work has been piled after two-month construction, and piling is planned to be completed in November.
So far, 2,000/2,450 piles of the retaining wall of the Tran Quoc Nghien coastal ring road have been placed. This is a new technical solution that enables the construction of embankments with the technology of prestressed sheet piles with a length of 16m and width of 1m.
Currently, embankment, foundation treatment and anchor pillars at the piled-construction sites have been started to be carried out by the contractor. According to the plan, the component of expanded roadbed will be basically completed in 2019, so that the whole project of expanding Tran Quoc Nghien coastal ring road would be completed by August, 2020.
