On April 14, Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Doc had a meeting with the Int’l Education Group SEGI (Malaysia) led by Mr. Bruce Lim, the Vice-Chairman of the Group.
At the meeting, Bruce Lim has introduced the Group’s strengths in educational activities. He also expressed the Group’s willingness to collaborate with Quang Ninh in building capacity, focusing on foreign language and informatics for tourism officers, lecturers, teachers, officials, and civil servants of the province.
After this working visit, the Group wishes to undertake field-surveys and research the locations to construct international training units within Quang Ninh based on the MoU that has been signed by Quang Ninh province and the Group at the Investment Promotion Conference 2012.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of QNPPC, confirmed that this is one of the successful outcomes of the Conference. He also highly appreciated the Group’s willingness to cooperate with the province. Currently, Quang Ninh is particularly paying its attention to improve the quality of human resource, especially in tourism.
Regarding the improvement of the quality of education and training, the Chairman of QNPPC has assigned the Department of Education and Training to collaborate with the Department of Home Affairs to draw plan and propose specific schedules aiming at enhancing the effectiveness of the cooperation with counterpart. He committed to offer the most favorable conditions to the Group to do survey and explore opportunities to construct training units in the province.
