On Dec. 12, a delegation headed by Mr. Nguyen Van Doc, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of QNPPC had a working session at Chu Lai Open Economic Zone (in Quang Nam Province).
The delegation has visited Soda Manufacturing Plant at Tam Hiep industrial zone (under Chu Lai Open Economic zone). Being kicked off on April 30th, 2010, the Soda Manufacturing Plant was built on a 60-hectare area with the total investment capital of USD 120 million.
This is the first Soda Manufacturing Plant in Vietnam with the main products of heavy and light soda, aiming at satisfying the demand of production of glass, papers, and washing powder...
The operation of the plant plays a significant role to the chemical industry of Vietnam, meeting the need of Soda in the nationwide and reducing the import of this goods.
On the same day, the delegation also visited INDEVCO - Chu Lai Float Glass JSC.
At the working session with the President of INDEVCO Group based in Quang Ninh province, Mr. Nguyen Van Doc highly appreciated the effectiveness of investment and production of these two above-mentioned plants in particular and the INDEVCO in general.
Mr. Chairman of QNPPC requested the INDEVCO to soon implement the investment in project on Hai Ha Seaport- industrial zone according to the decision of the Prime Minister at the Document N0 2214/TTg-KTN dated 30/11/2011.
