On the occasion of Vietnam Businessmen’s Day (on Oct. 13) Cam Pha Town People’s Committee yesterday held a meeting to honour successful enterprises and businessmen within the town
At present, in Cam Pha town, there are nearly 900 non-state enterprises that are in stable operation, attracting over 15,000 labors and contributing VND 135 billion to the town budgetin 2011. In comparison with 2010, the number of non-state enterprises has increased to 98.
By the end of Oct.11, 2011, with assistance of these enterprises, 138 houses have been built and repaired with the total capital of more than VND 681 million; over 1,400 people have been visited and gifted; and the poor families and the ones that are suffering from flooding and storms have been supported with VND 500 million.
Also on this occasion, the PPC awarded certificates of merit to 7 businessmen; one enterprise and 9 businessmen were rewarded by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for their outstanding achievements in production, business and charity activities; 21 outstanding businessmen were awarded and honoured for their excellent achievements in production, business and social activities in 2011.
