Cai Lan Port handles first tonne of cargo of 2017

On the first day of 2017, the Cai Lan Port received nearly 200,000 tonnes of cargo from Panama and Micronesia.

The cargo including 70,000 tonnes of wheat and dry soybeans; 5,000 tonnes of junk iron and 28,000 tonnes of maize were unloaded by Quang Ninh Port Joint Stock; 50,000 tonnes of maize and 40,000 tonnes of wood chip by Cai Lan International Container Terminal company (CICT).

As reported, in 2016, Quang Ninh Port Joint Stock and Cai Lan International Container Terminal Ltd., recorded to receive nearly 550 cruise ships arrivals, with the cargo output of about 12 mln tonnes.
