Cái Chiên island- the last island commune in Qủang Ninh has been official connected to the national power grid following highest efforts of Quảng Ninh Party Committee; Government, local authorities and electricity sector.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony on April 28, Chairman of QNPPC Nguyễn Đức Long affirmed that the project is significant to the safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands in the North East of Việt Nam, for socio-economic and cultural development as well as defence and security in the island commune. Furtherrmore, it will improve residents’ living conditions.
He praised the efforts of contractors, workers and relevant agencies in ensuring the safety, quality and efficiency of the project.
On this occasion QNPPC granted certificates of merit to orgnizations and individuals for achievements during the project implementation.
