According to the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the task of socio-economic development in the 6 remaining months of 2019, the Council agreed to focus on striving to achieve and exceed the socio-economic targets for 2019, in which the total state budget collection in the province will gain VND 42,500 billion.
It can be said that this is not an easy task and it requires great effort of the whole political system, especially the local functional authorities. In particular, all levels and sectors are requested to continue to place much emphasis on synchronously performing tasks and solutions on socio-economic development in 2019, concentrated on tackling difficulties in production and business activities, as well as ensuring the growth target of the whole year. Along with that, improving the quality and efficiency of services, and increasing the proportion of the service sector in the economic structure is considered as another vital requirement.
In fact, from the beginning of the year up to now, numerous robust measures for budget collection and expenditure have been strictly undertaken by functional authorities and localities within the province. As a result, the total state budget collection in the province in the first 7 months was VND 27,738 billion, up 13% compared to the same period of 2018; domestic revenue reached VND 21,034 billion, seeing a 15% year-on-year increase.
In order to complete and exceed the year's budget collection target, Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thang asked all the departments, sectors and localities within the province to be more aggressive in implementing solutions to complete the year's targets.
Increasing the budget collection and exceeding the state budget collection targets is to ensure expenditure tasks, especially for investment development. Therefore, all levels, sectors and localities need to recognize that this is a very important task greatly contributing to successfully fulfilling the socio-economic development plan for the whole year of 2019, as well as creating premise for the development of the province in following years.
