On Jun. 6, in Ha Long city, QNPPC held a ceremony to sign consultingcontract with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to develop socio-economic plan of Dong Trieu, Uong Bi, Ha Long and Cam Pha. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the QNPPC.
The Boston Consulting Group ranks the 3rd global management consulting firm. BCG has completed the proposal of socio-economic masterplans for the above-mentioned localities. The two sides also reach unanimous agreement to sign the contract in compliance with the Vietnamese current laws and international practicies.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Thanh highly appreciated the prepartions conducted by the BCG in collaboration with revelant departments and localities. He emphasized that, the socio-economic development master plans of Dong Trieu, Uong Bi, Ha Long and Cam Pha are very important for the development of the province in general and these localities in particular. Thus, the relevant departments and sectors of Quang Ninh province and these above localities will provide the consulting group with the best conditions to the success of the plans.
