On Nov. 18, Vice Chairman of QNPPC Nguyen Van Thanh chaired a meeting to listen to the ideas raised by Austrian Technology Institute to build an intelligent urban at Van Don EZ. The meeting was also attended by other leaders of revelant provincial departments and sectors.
At the meeting, a representatives of the Institute has presented their ideas to build an intelligent urban at Van Don EZ. Accordingly, the project aims to develop Van Don into an economic center- an intelligent urban of the region with an estimated population of 90,000 people and a hi-tech industrial zone creating jobs for 50,000 labors. Particularly, the project construction will satisfy 6 major areas, such as intelligent economy; intelligent transportation; intelligent envionment; intelligent people; intelligent lifestyle and maganement.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Thanh emphasized that developing intelligent urban is emerging trend of the world. Thus, the proposals presented by the Austrian Technology Institute will help Quang Ninh people in approaching this concept in a clearer way. He also hoped that the Institute, with its experiences, would have more appropriate ideas for the actual situation of Van Don EZ.
