The project on VietGAP-based custard-apples growing has been conducted in Viet Dan commune (Dong Trieu town) since 2018.
Farmers were not only taught how to apply the VietGAP standards in growing custard-apples but also instructed how package the post-harvest products to create their own brand.
Farmers in Viet Dan commune now has nearly 200 VietGAP custard-apple growing, with around 100 hectares of custard-apples meeting VietGAP standards, accounting for 50 percent of the custard-apple growing area of Dong Trieu town.
