In the morning of Oct. 24, Mr. Do Thong - Standing vice-chairman of QNPPC chaired a meeting with Alphanam Investment and Infrastructure Construction Joint-stock Company and Salvador Perez Arroyo Design Company (S-Design) who are willing to explore investment opportunities in Quang Ninh. Mr. Nguyen Van Doc, chairman of QNPPC has also attended the meeting.
Alphanam is a corporation who has invested in infrastructure construction in Vietnam for many years. It has involved in more than 20 projects within the province, such as: Thang Long Cement Company; Cam Pha Cement Company; Lighting Infrastructure for Cai Lan Industrial Zone and some other projects of Vinacomin. It also collaborated with Guangxi New transport development Group to invest in some projects on building roads in the province.
Salvador Pérez Arroyo Design consulting firm (S-Design) is a company specializing in design and construction planning. It wishes to partly contribute to the overall planning of the province.
Mr. Do Thong highly appreciated the cooperation and willingness of these companies in contributing to the overall development planning of Quang Ninh. At the same time, he acclaimed their interest in investment in the projects within the province.
Regarding the project on building roads, Mr. Do Thong emphasized that in the past few years, under the direction of the Party and the government, transport system of Quang Ninh has been rapidly developed. However, it hasn’t satisfied the transport demand of the province. Therefore, he has provided the preliminary information about 3 projects on transport in which the Alphanam investment and infrastructure construction joint-stock company and the Guangxi New Transport Development Group are willing to invest, such as: the project on building highway from Ha Long to Hai Phong; Bac Luan II bridge project , and the 4B National Road project.
Concerning the master development planning of Mong Cai and Ha Long city, Mr. Do Thong requested Department of Construction; Management Board of the key projects and Mong Cai City People’s Committee to collaborate with the Salvador Pérez Arroyo Design consulting firm (S-Design) to discuss with each other and draw the orientation of future development.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Doc – chairman of QNPPC highly acknowledged the investments of the companies in the projects within Quang Ninh province. Regarding the planning issue, he hoped to see high-quality, world-class and high-feasibility plans. Related to the projects on transport, he directed relevant departments and sectors to continuously work with the companies to discuss about investment mechanism and consult investment methods.
