On Nov. 17, a delegation of Quang Ninh Newspaper led by Mrs. Le Ngoc Han, Deputy Editor and accompanied by Mr. Dinh Khac Anh, Chief Editor of Thua Thien Hue Newspaper and some leaders of Quang Ninh Newspaper’s divisions had a meeting with Guangxi Daily Newspaper Media Group (China).
The Chairman - Li Qi Rui of and leaders of Guangxi Daily Newspaper Media Group welcomed and worked with the delegation.
At the meeting, the two sides have evaluated the results of collaboration program in 2011 and agreed on the contents of cooperation in 2012. In 2011, based on the main functions and tasks of the two newspapers, the two sides have regularly exchanged and disseminated information with each other, focusing on important issues, such as further developing the friendship between China and Vietnam, and updating socio-economic situation of the two provinces.
Especially, the official opening of Quang Ninh E-Newspaper in Chinese version has created a new information channel for a mass of the Chinese speaking readers including the readers in Guangxi province. Since April, 2011, a special column on Guangxi has been opened to the readers. Furthermore, Quang Ninh Newspapers has recently sent 32 news and 27 articles on Quang Ninh province to be published on Guangxi Daily Newspapers The two sides have also exchanged mission groups. By doing so, officials and journalists from the both sides are provided with more opportunities to exchange and share working experiences.
Also at the working session, both sides have discussed and agreed on the contents of cooperation in 2012, including: maintaining the exchange of information; setting up the link of Quang Ninh E- Newspaper (Chinese version) on Guangxi E-Newspaper and vice versa; sending two reporters and editors from each side to work for a month at these two Newspapers. In addition, Guangxi Daily Newspaper Media Group will donate Quang Ninh Newspaper a scholarship to study Chinese at Guangxi University.
The two sides will continue to maintain the exchange of information . Quang Ninh Newspaper will be the focal point to support the Guangxi Group to connect with the Party newspapers of other cities and provinces in Vietnam to expand the cooperation and propaganda activities.
Apart from the working visit in Guangxi, the delegation of Quang Ninh Newspaper visited newspaper agencies and enterprises in YuLin and Guygang cities (Guangxi).
