QNPPC has recently issued the Decision No 677/QĐ-UBND approving a list of projects calling for investment into Quang Ninh in 2013 and in the period of 2013-2015 .
Specifically, the list consits of 32 projects covering key areas relating socio-economic development of Quang Ninh, namely: transport,technical and urban infrastructure; industrial production; culture, tourism, services, and trade; medical care and education-trainning...
Of which, a number of the projects that call for large investment capital are:the Complex Entertainment Area (including Casino) in Van Don Economic Zone (with an estimated value of USD 4 billion); Hai Ha marine port and industrial park (with an estimated capital of around USD 3 billion); Mac dynasty swamp industrial park in Quang Yen town (with an estimated capital of around USD 2 to 3 billion); the Non-tariff and clean industrial area in Van Don Economic Zone (with an estimated capital of around USD 1.3 to 1.5 billion...)
QNPPC assigned the IPA to collaborate with the Quang Ninh Department of Investment and Planning, the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority, and other relevant provincial departments and sectors to organize investment promotion and implement the content under the decision.
