In this mountainous haven, the harmonious blend of Party initiatives and public aspirations is steadily cultivating profound transformations: newly paved roads stretch across the landscape, lush forests provide secure livelihoods, and community-based tourism initiatives gradually unfold, kindling hopes for a more prosperous, peaceful, and joyful Ky Son.

Throughout this journey of advancement, the Ky Son Hamlet Party Cell serves as the core leadership unit, steadfastly upholding the motto of "being close to the people, understanding the people, and standing alongside the people" to bring every policy and resolution to life, continually renewing the face of the highlands.
Ky Son stands as one of the largest hamlets in the city, spanning over 93 square kilometers of natural terrain and home to 230 households comprising more than 1,000 residents, with the Dao ethnic minority accounting for 98% of the population. The hamlet Party cell currently counts 55 dedicated and exemplary members.
Previously, Ky Son faced exceptional hardships, where daily life contended with the formidable challenges of "three absences": isolated transport infrastructure, zero mobile phone reception, and unstable power grids. Yet, fueled by the pioneering spirit of Party members and the unwavering solidarity of the local community, these persistent bottlenecks have been systematically dismantled, clearing a broad path toward daily revitalization for Ky Son.
During Ky Son hamlet Party cell meetings, practical policies closely tied to daily life are thoroughly discussed and agreed upon, ensuring that every resolution entering reality stems directly from the genuine aspirations and practical interests of the people.Officials and party members of the Ky Son hamlet Party cell not only visit every household to advocate and mobilize support, but they also roll up their sleeves to pitch in directly on construction sites. Driven by this close connection, grassroots involvement, and exemplary conduct, 11 households reached a consensus and voluntarily donated over 4,800 square meters of land in mid-2026 to upgrade and expand the residential cluster road in Ky Son hamlet.Following more than three months of construction from mid-June to mid-September 2026, the road spanning over 800 meters with a total investment of nearly 20 billion VND has reached completion. This wide-open thoroughfare winding through the mountains and forests of Ky Son stands as a vivid testament to the perfect harmony between Party will and public aspiration.The newly widened road brings profound joy to the local residents, smoothing daily commutes and carrying Ky Son's children safely to school while nurturing their dreams in the heart of the village.Ban Van Vi, Head of Ky Son Hamlet in Ky Thuong Commune, actively encourages local households to introduce new corn varieties into production, steadily boosting productivity and incomes. Thanks to these agricultural transformations, the lives of Ky Son residents are growing increasingly prosperous and fulfilling right in their native land, leaving zero poor households remaining and raising average per capita income to over 70 million VND per year.
Amidst the grand forests of Dong Son - Ky Thuong, local residents and authorities join hands to protect every green sprout. For the people of Ky Son, preserving the forest means safeguarding their source of life, securing their livelihoods, and protecting a vibrant green future for generations to come.Amidst the rhythms of modern life, the needlework and stitches of the Dao ethnic residents continue to weave the vibrant colors of traditional culture, ensuring that the community's identity is carefully preserved and handed down across generations.Drawing upon values preserved across generations, local residents are gradually transforming their cultural identity into tourism experiences, opening up new livelihoods and building prosperity right in their homeland. Every year, Ky Son welcomes over 3,000 visitors for sightseeing and immersive experiences.
