On September 11, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism led a working delegation comprising representatives from departments and agencies, experts and tour operators to survey and promote several new and promising tourism products in Van Don Special Zone.
The delegation surveyed the San Diu Ethnic Cultural and Tourism Village, whose highlight is a spacious, modern two-storey traditional house with five bays, covering an area of 300 square meters. The site features a collection of artefacts and tools associated with the daily life of the San Diu ethnic community. In recent years, the destination has welcomed numerous domestic and international visitors to explore the culture and experience the daily life of the San Diu people.
Alongside cultural tourism products, the delegation surveyed an island and marine ecotourism model linked to aquaculture, an approach that Van Don Special Zone is currently studying as a potential development direction.
At Biboy World Van Don, the delegation praised the scale and quality of the indoor entertainment complex, particularly its capacity to accommodate domestic tour groups and MICE visitors.
The survey was conducted under the “One Commune, Ward and Special Zone, One Signature Tourism Product” programme, with the aim of assessing new tourism products registered by localities for 2026.
