As the autumn-winter tourism season gets underway, Quang Ninh is set to host a series of distinctive cultural activities. A highlight is the “Meditative Autumn Colors 2026 ” festival, offering a diverse range of cultural, spiritual and artistic experiences in the World Heritage Site. Alongside activities in Yen Tu, the tourism sector is also launching a heritage-linking journey entitled “Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu Heritage Passport”.

The programme connects tourism products and destinations associated with Ha Long Bay, a World Natural Heritage Site; the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac Complex of Monuments and Landscapes, a World Cultural Heritage Site; the Bach Dang historical site; Quang Ninh Museum; and traditional craft villages. Through this interconnected journey, visitors can experience the distinctive cultural values of Quang Ninh and the wider heritage region, while enjoying vouchers for culinary experiences, OCOP products and special offers at tourist attractions.

This combination of tourism offerings and major events is expected to give visitors more reasons to choose Quang Ninh, while stimulating demand for accommodation, entertainment and shopping and encouraging longer stays.

The fourth quarter of 2026 is also expected to be a vibrant period, with a wide range of cultural, sporting, tourism and culinary activities. These include the Quang Ninh – Vietnam – Guangxi, China Cultural, Artistic, Tourism and Culinary Programme, featuring the 2026 Quang Ninh – Guangxi art exchange, tourism and trade exhibition booths, and a culinary space. The Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2026 is a much-anticipated event, providing a platform to promote, showcase and honour distinctive culinary products from hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions and localities across the city to residents and domestic and international visitors.

With the message “Quang Ninh Tourism – Safe, Friendly, Attractive and Professional,” the tourism sector is targeting 23 million visitor arrivals and tourism revenue of more than VND 70 trillion in 2026. More importantly, it aims to improve the quality of tourism development, extend visitors’ stays, increase tourist spending and enhance destination quality, thereby laying a foundation for a sustainable and competitive tourism industry that makes an increasingly significant contribution to the city’s economic growth.
