Nearly 1,200 athletes participate in the Yen Tu Ultra Trail 2026

On the morning of September 6, around 1,200 athletes competed in the 5 km and 15 km races of the Yen Tu Ultra Trail 2026. These were the final two races of this year’s event, bringing the total number of participants to around 2,000.

Held from September 4 to 6, the Yen Tu Ultra Trail 2026 was organised by Yen Tu Ward in coordination with the Quang Ninh City Journalists’ Association and relevant agencies. A new feature of this year’s event was the addition of the 70 km ultra-distance race, held for the first time in northeastern Vietnam. In addition to domestic athletes, the event attracted a large number of international athletes from 12 countries and territories.
