On Jan. 28, Advocacy Committee of Quang Ninh Provincal Fund for the Poor held an event to receive sponsorship from Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO).
THACO donated 500 million VND as the New Tear gifts to the poor households provincewide so that they could have a warm Tet holiday. This is the second consecutive year that THACO has sponsored the poor in the province.
Speaking at the event, representative of THACO expressed their desire to contribute to the overall development of Quang Ninh province.
On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Fund for the Poor, Vice Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Le Manh Cuong thanked THACO for their grear contribution to the socio-economic development of the porovince as well as the social welfare activities. He also hoped to continue to cooperate and accompany the Corpotaion in the coming time.
As reported, 1,100 Tet gifts (each worth VND300-500,000) from the Central Fatherland Front Committee and THACO were granted to the poor and near-poor famlilies provincewide.
