Vietnam’s exports and imports total 31.64 billion USD in first half of June
Vietnam’s commodity export and import value in the first half of June 2022 reached 31.64 billion USD, a decrease of 10% compared to the second half of May 2022, according to the latest preliminary statistics of the General Department of Customs.
The results achieved in the first half of June have brought the country’s total 2022 export and import turnover by the end of June 15 to 337.85 billion USD, up 16.7%, equivalent to 48.44 billion USD.
In which, the value of foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises reached 232.67 billion USD, up 16% (equivalent to 32.03 billion USD), while that of domestic enterprises was 105.18 billion USD, up 18.5% (equivalent to 16.41 billion USD) compared to the same period last year.
During the period, the balance of trade had a deficit of 1.42 billion USD. From the beginning of the year to the end of June 15, the deficit was nearly 1.3 billion USD
