After two days featuring a wide range of activities, the Vietnam - Hokkaido Festival 2026 in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, concluded on September 6.
After five editions, four of which have included Quang Ninh’s participation, the Vietnam - Hokkaido Festival has affirmed its role as a cultural bridge, helping strengthen friendship and bonds between the peoples of Vietnam and Japan. Through exchange activities, exhibitions, presentations and forums for discussion and cooperation, the cultural beauty, people and development potential of both sides were widely introduced to the Japanese public.
For Quang Ninh, participation in this year’s festival carried additional significance following its establishment as a city. It provided an opportunity for Quang Ninh to promote its image, culture, people and development advantages within its new development space, while expanding connections and seeking further cooperation opportunities with Japanese localities, businesses and partners.
