Asiana Airlines’s OZ7737 flight bringing 308 engineers of Sam Sung Electronics Vietnam Co., departing from Incheon, South Korea, landed at Van Don International Airport on Apr 17.
This was a special flight carrying South Korean experts to Vietnam to work under the agreement of the two governments. However, the reception at Van Don International Airport complied with the closed process outside the terminal. Accordingly, a separate parking lot was reserved for the plane at the airport, ensuring that the arrivals of the flight would not affect the airport’s general operation and prevent cross-infection.
Crew members, passengers and their luggages were supervised and quarantined in compliance with special regulations and then sent to the isolation areas for 14 days before returning Sam Sung Electronics Vietnam Co.
This is the 32nd flight bringing Vietnamese citizens and international experts back Vietnam from disease-hit areas. Following the Prime Minister’s order, from Feb 10, 2020 until now, Van Don International Airport has received nearly 5,000 passengers to Vietnam.
