On Nov. 1, Vietnam Airlines launched Van Don - Da Nang air route with a frequence of 3 flights a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The flights depart from Da Nang City at 2.35 p.m and take off at 4.35 p.m at Van Don District. This is Vietnam Airlines’ second air route to Van Don following the Ho Chi Minh City - Van Don air route, contributing to fostering trade and tourism connection between Quang Ninh Province and other provincies nationwide. Airbus A321 aircafts meeting the 4-star international service standards are used in these flights. The new air route has created favorable conditions to connect the two tourist centers, including Quang Ninh and Da Nang, thereby promoting the development of the two localities. This is also the 5th air route, including 3 international ones operated at Van Don International Airport after 10 months of operation. The Van Don International Airport received more than 150,000 tourist arrivals, including over 3,000 foreign tourists.
