Uong Bi: Low-income households hit by the pandemic receive financial aid

Implementing the province’s guidelines and decitions, the city of Uong Bi on August 25 provided poor and near-poor households worst affected by the Covid-19 with financial aid.

Accordingly, beneficiaries include poor households, near-poor households based on the national poverty line and the provincial poverty line. These people belong to the latest list of poor households, near-poor households and donot receive monthly allowances for people with meritorious services to the revolution, social allowances, and social insurance. Each person receives an assistance of VND 1,5 million.

In this phase, more than VND 1 billion was tranfered to 303 households with 699 people in Uong Bi city.

The payment process strictly conformed to all defined regulations on prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.
