On Apr 16, Hospital No.2 announced the successful treatment of two Covid-19 infected patients, namely No.50 and No.149.
The female patient No.50 aged 24, at Group 2, Zone 4B, Hong Hai ward, Ha Long city. She was the passenger who boarded VND0054 flight from London to Vietnam on Mar 9 confirmed to be positive for the coronavirus on Mar 13 and sent to the isolation area at Hospital No.2.
The male patient No.149 aged 40 in Long Bien district, Hanoi, is a freelance worker in Hessen (Germany). His flight landed Van Don International Airport, Quang Ninh on Mar 23 and he was tested positive with SARS-CoV-2 on the same day and then sent to Hospital No.2 for isolation and treatment.
During the treatment process, the two above-mentioned patients were tested negative for the novel coronavirus on April 13, 14 and 15. Currently, they are in stable health status and will be rechecked and isolated in next 14 days.
Up to now, no positive cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in Quang Ninh.
