On Mar 17, thanks to World Bank’s sponsor, Vietnam’s Central Institue of Hygiene and Epidemiology in coordination with Quang Ninh Center for Disease Control launched a training course on early diagnosing Sars-CoV-2 by Real Time polymerase chain reaction RT-PCR technology.
The training course with the participation of 18 health staff who are doing tests in the provinces of Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong and Lang Son focused on analyzing the development of Covid 19 epidemic in the world in general and in Vietnam in particular, the process of collecting and preserving suspected Covid 19 samples, practicing the Sars-CoV-2 diagnosis by Real Time polymerase chain reaction RT-PCR technology, the process of lab construction and Sars-CoV-2 testing at Quang Ninh Center for Disease Center. The training course will last until Mar 19.
