Quang Ninh has recently announced official establishment of the Quang Ninh Media Group, which offcially operated on Jan 1, 2019.
This is the first media group in Vietnam at the provincial level that merges the Quang Ninh Broadcast and Television Station, Quang Ninh Newspaper Agency and other media agencies of the province in accordance with the press laws and the National Press planning. The group aims to develop the course of propaganda, information and press; effectively and properly operating “converged newsroom”, building Quang Ninh’s intergrated and developed press system.
Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Nguyen Van Doc stressed that the establishment of the Quang Ninh Media Group is one of the most important events of Quang Ninh in the year of 2018. The establishment of new organisation demonstrated the dynamism, innovation and leading of Quang Ninh province in implementing new models. This is a political task, which requires active involvement, responsibility and determination of the whole province’s political system..
Having said that, along with restructure of the apparatus, the Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee asked the staff members of the Quang Ninh Media Group to continute to improve their professional skills in performing their work so that the propaganda and press information could be better and more effective. With the good tradition and achivements of Quang Ninh’s media agencies, the Secretary strongly believes that this new model will operate effectively, successfully complete the assigned tasks, meeting the expectations of the Central and the province.
