The program “Border Guard warms the hearts of villagers in Spring” held in Binh Lieu
On January 10, the Provincial Border Guard Command and Binh Lieu district jointly organized the program “Border Guard warms the hearts of villagers in Spring” at the Hoanh Mo Border Gate.
The program, held ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, provided free medical examinations and medicine, and organized art exchanges, cultural activities, sports, folk games, and Tet cake cooking.
On this occassion, the Border Guard Command donated charity houses and delivered Tet gifts to the families of revolutionary veterans, students, and disadvantaged families in the district.
The real value of the program is to show the gratitude of officers and soldiers to the people. This is really a festival of ethnic minorities in the border areas and islands and is a very meaningful cultural activity, imbued with national cultural identity, that brings joy and excitement to local ethnic minorities when spring comes.
