Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has signed Decision 479/QD-TTg approving the task of making Quang Ninh planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
The planning scope covers the entire natural land area of 6,178.8 sq.km and the sea surface area of more than 6,000 sq.km managed by Quang Ninh province with a total of 13 administrative units, including four cities of Ha Long, Mong Cai, Cam Pha and Uong Bi, two towns of Quang Yen and Dong Trieu, seven districts of Binh Lieu, Tien Yen, Dam Ha, Hai Ha, Ba Che, Van Don and Co To.
Quang Ninh planning’s main contents must comply with the Government’s Planning Law and Decree No. 37/2019/ND-CP dated May 7, 2019, concerning analyzing, evaluating and forecasting specific development factors and conditions of the province, assessing the real situation of socio-economic development, the current status of land use, the status of urban and rural systems etc.
The Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment and relevant departments and sectors instructed Quang Ninh People’s Committee to implement the planning.
